Employment Background Checks
All of our employees are vetted through a number of security checks.
ID verification: We verify each candidate’s ID by using credit data combined with questions from the applicant’s Equifax file to verify their identity. Identification Verification is required for a Criminal Record Check (CRC).
RCMP CRC: A Canadian Police Information Check includes a search of the Canadian Police Information Centre (“CPIC”) database and locally held police information centers. Reports are given on charges, warrants, peace bonds, prohibition orders, release conditions, probation orders, summary convictions, recent convictions not yet registered in the National Repository.
Softcheck: Real-time query of over 200,000 databases from 240 countries. Record searches of public media sources, sex offender registries, court filings, fraud alerts, sanctions, and watchlists for adverse media and risk-relevant information.
Candidates require a CLEAR pass condition on all checks to qualify for employment.
